Recycling
There are a number of different ways you can help the Save Canterbury Cathedral Appeal just from things you might throw in the bin!
Mobile Phones
Your old mobile phone could be worth up to £50 to the Appeal! If you have an old mobile phone lying around at home and you would like to donate it to the Appeal phone us to request a freepost mobile phone bag. Once you have received it simply pop your phone into the bag, seal it and put it in the post. We could receive up to £50 for any phone that can be recycled. You can include your charger and any accessories in the bag but please remember to remove your sim card.
Old English and Foreign Currency
Whether you have some old 50p pieces tucked in a drawer or some french francs they all have a value to the appeal. So far we have raised more than £500 from obselite currency. That may not sound very much towards our overall fundraising target but it is worth remembering that all these old currencies cannot be spent so every penny we raise is, in effect, money for nothing!
You can drop any bags or old currency into the Appeal office, please see our contacts page for our address. Alternatively if you have a large quantity of coins we may be able to collect them if we have a volunteer in your area.
