Trevor Pinnock

On the 13 June in the beautiful setting of The Baron's Hall at Penshurst Place, Trevor Pinnock and Friends gave a most memorable recital. Trevor Pinnock, the world renowned harpsicdordist and conductor was joined by; Thomas Hancox (flute), Ben Hancox (violin), Julia Vohralik (cello), Jane Gordon (violin), and Jan Schlapp (viola). The recital was in aid of the Save Canterbury Cathedral Appeal.

The evening's recital included the following pieces;

J.S. Bach:Trio sonata in G major for flute, violin and continuo BWV1038, Largo-Vivace-Adagio-Presto, G.F. Handel: Trio sonata in B minor for flute, violin and continuo op. 2 HWV386B Andante – Allegro – Largo – Allegro, J.S. Bach: Brandenburg Concerto no. 5 in D major BWV1050 for flute, violin, harpsichord and strings Allegro – Affettuoso – Allegro.
