More than 20,000 runners pounded the streets of central London on Sunday 6th July to take part in the annual British 10k London Run and the Appeal were lucky enough to have a team of ten runners taking part to raise money, and vital awareness for us.
Our team were made up of a mixture of professional runners and social runners from all over Kent who all completed the run in less than two hours. Our Kent Community Fundraising Manager, Karen Gambrell, was there to congratulate them at the finish line
"Coming up to London to cheer on our team, and all of the other participants running in aid of all of these amazing charites, was the least we could do to say thank you. This type of event provides a huge platform to raise awareness for the Appeal and we are very grateful to our team for choosing to support us in this way"
